The club is pleased to announce the publication of the Club?s continuing history covering the years 1992-2012.
This is a follow on to the very successful Centenary Book of 1891-1991.
It is full of stories and pictures during a time in which the club has developed into one of the finest links courses in the country.
A must read not only for Club members but also for anyone who has been involved in the club down the years.

Portsalon moves up to 25th!!
Golf Digest have published their updated Top 100 Irish Courses for 2013. We have improved our position by two places to 25th and are rated in the top twenty Links Courses.
We have consistantly moved up the rankings in recent years.
Portsalon exists since 1891 and is recognised worldwide as a must play Irish links. We have regained the status and esteem in which we were held in the last two centuries.
Congratulations to everyone involved especially our head greenkeeper and his staff on the continuation of the excellent work.

We wish to congratulate Paul on his appointment as Ryder Cup Captain. It is a magnificent and well deserved achievement for him, and from our experience of Paul he will leave no stone unturned in his efforts to achieve maximum sucess.
