Golf Digest 2013 Course Rankings
Portsalon moves up to 25th!!
Golf Digest have published their updated Top 100 Irish Courses for 2013. We have improved our position by two places to 25th and are rated in the top twenty Links Courses.
We have consistantly moved up the rankings in recent years.
Portsalon exists since 1891 and is recognised worldwide as a must play Irish links. We have regained the status and esteem in which we were held in the last two centuries.
Congratulations to everyone involved especially our head greenkeeper and his staff on the continuation of the excellent work.

"As Captain of Portsalon Golf Club I extend a warm welcome to all who play and visit our magnificent Links. Portsalon Golf Club is one of the nine founding members of the Golfing union of Ireland and has a proud tradition with a great golfing history. I am sure you will enjoy the playing challenge of our course and the spectacular scenery. When you have completed your round you can relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere in our clubhouse where you can chose from an extensive menu while looking out at the spectacular scenery . I do hope you enjoy your experience here at Portsalon and that you will return to play here on our truly great links course."
We wish to congratulate Paul on his appointment as Ryder Cup Captain. It is a magnificent and well deserved achievement for him, and from our experience of Paul he will leave no stone unturned in his efforts to achieve maximum sucess.
